Tmr is e big day for TK Band and all the other bands which have got into the SYF Outdoor Band Competition. It's the last time that SYF and the coming NDP, will be held at the Singapore National Stadium. It's going to be demolished to make way for a new and bigger national stadium. However, no matter how big, new and nice it is, it wont contain the many many memories that a lot of Singaporeans like me and you have in our minds. Well, I'm prepared to bring my camera there to take pictures of me n my friends as well as the pictures that will remind me of the old band days.

Okay, since it's the last time that Outdoor Band Competition that will be held there, it will be doubly important that TK win the Best Display Band again. Well, just hope that our juniors will be able to show the TK Band spirit and most importantly - the TK Band "magic"!

Saw the advertisement for TO THE BEAT OF YOUTH on tv, while I was preparing for work. And I saw footages of the mighty TK Band! =) I wasn't able to catch the exact timing for the show but I noted down the date.
Got to know more details from both Missy D & Missy Kuah.

The same show will be telecast on both channel 8 & 5 but on different dates.

So everyone (no matter u r a band fanatics or not) do remember to watch this interesting educational programme! And for those who were once part of the big TK Band family, I'm sure u'll be smiling away throughout the whole show! U'll be reminded of the happy, sad and memoriable days of the past and remember the hard work we had put in to win the best display band. Times flies but memories do stay with us for a long long time! Yupz, and without TK Band, I would never have known that Missy D lives so near me. And the great friendship that was formed during those memoriable days. =)

I'm looking forward to the SYF Opening Ceremony on 15 1 July 2006! It's the time when our hearts will be beating rapidly and enjoying ourselves simultaneously!

Does anyone noes how to record the tv programme and making it into a video file? If anyone noes n is willing to help, please let me know! Thanks!

Called Liwen & CK to ask them whether they wanna go for the badminton quarter finals, yet Liwen has to think abt it and CK wants to sleep. Free stuff n they still wanna consider for so long. Anyway, there's still Missy Diana who is finally free & interested.

Another irritating thing is tt after confirming K lunch outing for this mrn, Missy Kuah smsed to cancel the outing after agreeing to go! Be decisive, and dont change ur mind after agreeing. Next, while viewing through the caller ID, i saw her number and the call was made at 11pm. I'm going tell u e last time, dont call my house after 10pm. Anything call my hp and I'll call back. If i never ans means tt i'm alseep already and you just leave an sms for me to read. Get all these things into ur head and I dont wanna repeat myself anymore. Thanks for ur co-operation.

Well, 5 weeks into my professional attachment, I have tonnes of things to say but I think it better for me to save it for my report.

Audited a small realty company 90% independently. It's a real good chance to experience what auditors actually do and how they feel when handling clients. For my case, I had no one to turned to. My supervisor briefly briefed me about the things to take note of and afterwhich she returned to our office. Being left alone at the client's place, I had to be nice to them and show them tt I'm responsible and diligent enough to complete the given task. I had to figure all the things on my own and there were a few problems with their accounts. Haiz~ Life isn't easy after all. How I wish I'll be able to find a job that relates to my interest...

Well, everything has it's pros n cons. From this valuable experience, I'm able to experience 1st hand what characteristics and qualities a good auditor shld possess. And I should also feel very lucky that being an intern, I was given such a golden opportunity to do audit on my own. =) I'm trying to tell myself that I should look at things from many angles so that I will feel that life isn't that bad after all.

My timetable for the coming semester! It sucks, aint it?

It's time of the year to register my modules and i didnt expect myself to be so unlucky! I was thinking that I had found the perfect solution to be the 1st few persons to submit my timetable to the computer system. Nevertheless, I was not able to get my 1st choice for 2 of my modules! So, I was forced to accept such a "nice" timetable. Fortunately, I'm only having a 4 day week cos for some 2 modules, lectures are conducted once / twice every semester. =)

Got back my grades today and was quite pleased with the results. I cant say i'm happy with it but we shouldn't be so greedy right? Well, I'm left with 2 more semesters before entering into the real cruel world. It's time to plan for my future and determine what I really wanna become... Auditor Lim? Accountant Lim? I'm not sure whether I wanna stay as an accountant/auditor for the rest of my life... Let natural run its own course then...

Had been at the client's place doing the whole audit procedure alone! =X Starting was tough and there were some obstacles which i had to overcome... I felt so helpless and yet there was nothing much I could do. Maybe this is a good chance to learn to be more independent and to train myself to make good judgement. GOOD TRAINING, i believe is good for my attachment experience...

Well, the stress is temporary over for now. I'm going back to office tomorrow and will be working for only half a day! N most importantly, I'll be getting my pay cheque tmr! =) Muahahaha, it's time to spend and let our economy grow! Well, the rest of today will be spent on discussing and planning timetable with my uni mates. Exam results will be out pretty soon!!!!!!! Another thing to worry about... *sigh*
