I've picked up a new hobby, that is BAKING. =) Haha~ Made cheesecake; baked brownies (not really successful); cookies (am baking this right now); apple tarts. I'm baking oatmeal chocolate chips & oatmeal peanut butter raisin (I hope this turns out to be nice) cookies. Shall upload some pictures when I'm done with everything. My ultimate aim is to bake a pretty cake, just like those that are sold in high end confectionaries. Haha~ Wish me luck! I think I wanna be a pâtissier (patissier) instead of an auditor.

I was shopping at NTUC Fairprice and some things caught my attention.

What do you think these packaging looks like?

This looks like cooking oil packaged in a diesel/petrol bottle.

This is cooking oil packaged like dish washing detergent.

Would anyone buy these home?! Maybe it's time for these companies to rethink about their current packaging. They total disgust consumers. x__x

Ever since my batch of temp staff had been transferred to another office on another level, I've experienced "dramas" almost everyday. The top people shout at each other loudly. They shout but I think they dont mean to be angry or anything. But as a newcomer, I'm unable to differentiate when they are angry and when they are not.

And I was very pissed with this guy who is in charge of giving us work to do. First, I don't know why he always pulls a long face when he sees my clique (all girls). In fact, he can be friendly to the other 2 guys from our batch and other people (including girls) in that office. Also, I feel he's rather rude towards us. We weren't properly briefed in the begining, as such some miscommunications resulted. So he had to do extra work and he actually said "then I've to do double work" right in front of us. Come on lah, can't you phrase it nicely? It's not totally our fault so why should you push all the blame to us. Shouldn't you be responsible as well? In the end he asked us to re-do some of the things! Then he passed us a few stacks of data to the 2 guys and asked them to share with us. This shows that he's unwilling to communicate with us. Maybe we're too ugly for his liking or something. Anyway, he told one of the guys that he forgot about those data. And if anyone asks about it then we tell them that we're just checking. You treat me like that and you still expect me to help you?! I shouldn't have ate his curry puff the other day. Probably this is our retribution for being greedy. Anyway, if I could return him a curry puff I would be very happy to do so. Maybe I'll even return him 10 curry puffs! I hate owing people things! I shall reject people when they treat me to something for no apparent reasons. WTF!

Near the end of the day, he asked for my friend and informed her that she'll be going back to our original department tomorrow morning. The head from our original department had called him earlier to request for one staff to be transferred back. And the only reason that my friend could think of was that she was slow in typing the data. This is definitely unfair. He should have asked who wants to go back instead of singling out my friend.

I just dont like the way things are being done there. There's too much supervision, too much control and scrutiny there. One of the supervisor there actually talked behind our back too. She was commenting to someone beside her that we are signing out so early. Please lah, I take the timesheet 5 mins earlier to pass around to sign also cannot meh? U want you tell me lah, so next time I'll sign out on the spot. Don't talk behind my back. Lousy workplace with lousy people. I'm just hanging on because I need money for my overseas trips and to buy my working attire. If not, I would never think of extending my contract which will end early next month.

And there's these 3 minahs in my office. They are forever staring at you and looking at you from head to toe. If you happen to look at them, they will gossip among themselves and talk bad about you. Something like "walk also want to stare". I dislike such immature and insecure people. If you girls can stare at us, why cant we stare back at you?! I've seen something like that back in my secondary school days. Some people might know which group I'm referring to. I shan't name them, we must learn to forgive and forget. The minah seniors would pinpoint the way people do things, criticise them in their face, talk bad behind their back in their own language, etc. I'm not a person who would retaliate. Rather, I'm someone who will curse behind people's back and hopes to see the day they get their retribution. Yes, I'm more evil than these people when I'm under their attack. Being ugly, fat, weird, stupid, etc does not mean that one has to endure all kinds of criticism from the others. As far as I'm concerned, more often than not they probably do not have a choice to be what they are.

All these goes to show that working is never going to be easy. You have to handle the stressful and huge amount of work. And on top of these, you have to hand office politics and manage your relationships well. It's like putting on an act or even a mask in office. I'm kind of dreading to start working so fast.

May the world be free of evil people and peace be with everyone. :)

Yesterday, I told myself that I would cut down on the amount of food that I consume. HOWEVER, many things happened today that convinced me that I'm fated to be tempted by all kinds of food. Hahaha~ I simply cant control my appetite. Probably I need a zip and a lock for my mouth. It all began in the morning when one of the permanent staff in my office bought Old Chang Kee curry puff for all of us. It was followed by a few mouthful of my brother's chicken cutlet. Then there was the lovely durians bought by my dad. Satisfying but the consequences are expected. Nevermind, I'm going for aerobics tomorrow!!! I need to keep my mouth zipped at all times!!! If you dont want to be scolded by me, then dont offer me food and dont tell me you're hungry, okay? =)

I just met another mad person and this time there was interaction between US (me and my friend) and the pyschological unsound girl.

Girl: Hi, is there any walter on my tee shirt?

Initially, I didnt know what's her walter. I threw her a confused look and looked at her tee-shirt. Nothing was on it.

US (confused): No.

Girl: Any walter or droplets on the back of my tee shirt?

Then I realised she meant water.

US: No.

I thought the aircon was leaking so water droplets might had dropped on her. Soon, she went to stand near the mrt door. And one stop later, she came back with more "questions" for us.

Girl: Is there anything on my hands? Are my hands dirty?

So we looked at her hands.

US: No. Your hands are clean.

She went back to stand near the door again. There was this secondary school girl sitting opposite us, frowned at her and looked at us. From her look, I knew that the sec school girl found that girl weird. And a few more stops later, she came back again. This time it was her wallet.

Girl: Is my wallet dirty?

Me: No, your wallet is clean. Are you seeing spots or something?

Girl: Erm, I'm just trying to check if my wallet is dirty or not.

Me: Okay, your wallet is clean.

She dont look like a mentally unsound person. So I thought something bad happened to her eyes or something. Awhile later, she sat down and started smiling to herself. I finally realised she's a little unsound mentally.

I'm always meeting such people. Those who hang out with me often will know that I'll always meet siao lang. Like Bras Brasa McDonald's, Geylang East Community Library, on the train, road and bus. There is this post about a mad woman who scolded me on the bus. I dont know why I always meet such people.

I hate my part time job!!! It's not telemarketing thankfully. It's tele-survey but this still sucks!

I totally hate saying this sentence: "Good evening, may I speak with Mr so and so. I'm XXX, customer relations officer from XXXX. BLAH BLAH BLAH..." My 1st call was a total shit and the customer actually told me he was not interested in such things and ask me not to call him again! Bloody hell! Can he say something nice?! I dont owe him a thing! And I certainly do not deserve to be treated like that! Survey only what, not as if I'm asking you to buy anything! WTH!!! ARRRGGGGHHHH...

And I'm in a different team as my friends! Our working hours are exactly opposite. When she works in the morning, I'll working in the afternoon. We can only meet for toilet and tea breaks. WTH! I was hoping to work with her. This is supposedly our last chance to work together!

After one day at work, all I can say is that I hate my part time job and I wanna quit after the contract ends a month later!

I've have to eat dinner alone tomorrow! This is so PATHETIC!

I'm going to start work tomorrow! \(^.^)/

I'm happy that I'll be having enough money to buy my working clothes.

However, I'm dissatisfied with the working hours. They want me to work from 1pm to 9pm. Though this shift is a 7 hour one, meaning that I earn more as compared to the morning shift. BUT I want to watch TV one loh!!! And I have my exercise class to attend!!! Irritating. I cant swim after work too. I dont wanna swim in the morning/afternoon cos it's too hot and the sun rays are too unhealthy! And also I cant go out with my friends for dinner or whatsoever!!! :( ARGGGHHHHHH... Money or life?

I was at Marine Parade library yesterday with Devil Goh. Of course she's mugging while I'm doing leisure reading. Haha~ I was attracted to this book on animals. It was a book with lotsa beautiful pictures and of course with little words as well. A picture paints a thousand words. I truly agree with this idiom. I was smiling at the book because the pictures were really beautiful, touching and heart warming!!! There was a picture of a father (or mother?) and son (or daughter?) lion. Ok, parent and kid. They were watching the sunset and the kid had his fore arms over his father's back. Touching eh?

These pictures are extracted from the internet.

It was circulated in an email that these harp seals are being hunted. I wonder why humans do such cruel things? To satisfy their cravings for gaming/ hunting? Are they feeling inferior so they have to do such a thing to boost their confidence? A bunch of pathetic people.

Martha, the last passenger pigeon
Passenger pigeon used to be very large in numbers. However, it was not large enough to satisfy human's cravings for these passenger pigeon's meat.

It's time to do our part to save ourselves as well as these animals. The world doesnt belong to us alone, so we shouldnt be so selfish and create so much pollution just to satisfy our unlimited wants. Probably humans will become extinct in the near future.
