It has been like 9 days after my birthday and I haven write a single bit about my birthday party. I'm just lazy to write about that "eventful" night. I don't know why but I always attract mentally unsound people. Wherever I go, those mentally unsound people will definitely around. It's fated I guess?
Okay, let's start...
22.12.2006
1600 hr
Arrived at East Coast Park. I seriously thought Area C Pit 30 was just outside McDonald's, caused many people a lot of inconvenience but nevermind it's over. Haha.
CK & SY had arrived there before me and they had to handle a bored old man. He claimed to be an ex-then-NUS(xin da) Mathematics lecture. He was asking CK & SY for a bowl of rice. CK's & SY's reply to him was that they were only guests so they can't decide on whether they can give him a bowl of rice. Then his reply to them was that they dont have "度量" (I hope I got it correct, should be this lah). He expected them to say that they could share with him their own portion even though they may not be the Birthday girl.
Then he asked us what is our "教" (religion). Then CK said she's a free thinker, then he said she has no "教养" or "教仰". If it's the 2nd one then it's not so bad. But verbally they sound the same and it wasn't pleasing to my ears, so I told him that it should be "信仰". He's naggy but harmless. I guess he's just lonely and wanted to give us moral education which he thinks it's lacking in teenagers? I also think that teenagers nowadays are getting from bad to worse, but it's not my problem anyway.
1800 hr
Guests were starting to arrive. =) One guest (I shan't name who) got lost.
1900 hr
A drunk Malay appeared out of nowhere. Staggering and swaying, and was walking around with another friend to take care of him. I was thinking if he's drunk then dont let him roam around especially the sober man knows that other people is having a birthday party.
2000 hr
Yeah, going to sing birthday song loh. But it started to drizzle and there were a lot of people in the shelter. A trio armed with guitar sang suddenly and they sang a birthday song for me after they saw us taking out a cake. Ok, I thot wow how come they are so nice. BUT soon after, they took out a bill folder and asked for donations. Ok, I unwillingly donated $5 ( I need to type 500 index to get $5)! Then after singing and cut cake, the drunk man appeared. Roaming around the pavillion. I was so worried that he would smashed my cake!!! So irritating!
Me and my TK gang stayed back after all my guests left. And then WE MADE the birthday card together. Haha... I had contributed to my own present (ironic) but it's ok...

Last but not the least, I wanna thank all that made the effort to attend my party! Thank you very much!

I'm now SMITTEN over Niu Er facial products!!! It's DIY range is afford and super popular in Taiwan... But they are only sold in Taiwan. Anyone going to Taiwan soon??? I cant wait to get my hands on them but there isn't any spree on at the moment, so I guess I'll just have to WAIT... =( Singapore is nothing but a boring place. Taiwan has ezpay, you just have to order from the website, select a 7-11 outlet that is nearest to your house and it will be ready in no time. How I wish I can visit Taiwan again.
Getting more and more black heads nowadays... I dunno what's happening too... I just want them to disappear into the thin air!!!
Anyway, I think I better jolt down the Niu Er products that I wanna buy. If any of you are interested then let me know... Haha...

There's offer now, buy 2 at a cheaper price i think. However i dunno when this sale will end and it better dont be before the next spree!!! I will continue to explore the website and look out for spree!!! Haha... And I better work harder and earn more money, else I'll go bankrupt pretty soon...

Haven been blogging for the past few days. This Christmas was super memorable because I vomitted the whole day. And I only drank glucose water for the entire day. People are celebrating while I'm really sick at home. I was watching Yakitate!! Japan. There was a part where this girl who was allergic to butter and she ate a bread with butter and fainted. It was then I realised that any allergic reaction could be life threating. So I searched online about allergic reactions and nausea was one of them. Then I realised that it was most probably the chocolate I ate. because no one else had nausea or tummy ache. I know I'm allergic to chocolates. During the last few years, my lips will swell (one of the common allergic reactions) whenever I ate chocolates. But lately this swelling did not happen after consuming the chocos. So I thot it was ok to eat them. Maybe my body started reacting differently and I didnt realise. So from now on I will not eat chocolates anymore!!!

| You Are 18 Years Old |
Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe. 13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world. 20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences. 30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more! 40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax. |
| You Communicate With Your Ears |
You love conversations, both as a listener and a talker. What people say is important to you, and you're often most affected by words, not actions. You love to hear complements from others. And when you're upset, you often talk to yourself. Music is very important to you. It's difficult to find you without your iPod. |

Well, I wanna thank Dear, Dearie & Neo for putting in so much effort for my present. They went to buy my present the day before when it was raining cats n dogs. I'm touched!!! So I'll specially prepare my "ai xin muah chee" and their favourite spicy tuna bread for them!!! =D
Many thanks to those who are able to come to my party!!! =)

Websites displaying pictures of inconsiderate drivers, rude citizens, etc are common nowadays. No matter you like it or not, we have to be extra careful when we are out on the streets. Browsing through the website, pictures that were posted were mainly teenagers, aunties and uncles. This website is good to deter its readers to commit the same "crime". However, those ignorant will continue to commit the "crimes".
Well, I think the best way to make these rude people realise their mistakes is to embarass them in the public. Of course, do not expose them if there are very few people around else you run the risk of being "box-ed". Anyway, you need a lot of courage to do so. Hoho~ For me, if the person is not bothering me I'll just heck care.
Anyway there are a few types of rude-ness that I cannot stand.
(1) Teenagers playing their music out loud from their handphones
I wonder why teenagers like to play their music out loud on trains and buses. They might think it's cool to do so. To me, they are simply irritating and desperate for attention. I dunno how kids nowadays think. (-.-)zzz
(2) Guys that sit with their legs wide open
Some guys sit with their legs wide open like nobody's business. Then people sitting beside them have to sit in uncomfortable positions while they sit comfortably? This is ridiculous. Keep your legs close lah, you are not opening kopitiam loh...
Let's make Singapore a better place to live in!

I'm still hoping to get my pay 4 months after working for NTUC INCOME for a road show at Raffles Xchange on 1st August 2006 to 3rd August 2006. I worked a total of 19.5 hours and the stated pay was $7 per hour. In the end, I got only S$21 after pestering the person-in-charge for 1 month. The reason was the boss-in-charge of the road show said that he will email the HR department our timesheet. However, he didnt email on time. And when he did email (after I called him), he only emailed the number of OT hours we did. HOW SMART?! I seriously doubt his work ability, or was he trying to understate his expenses?! I called the HR department again and the person-in-charge assured me that she will confirm with the boss-in-charge and that the company will definitely pay me.
Almost FIVE MONTHS later, I'm still waiting for my pay cheque to come. I even asked my friend's sister who is a colleague cum good friend of the HR person-in-charge to email her. No response till now. I'm pissed by how inefficient some companies are. I swear that I will never purchase any insurance from NTUC Income for the rest of my life. Imagine patroning a company that cheats its workers? OH HOW NICE... To think that it's a government-linked company (ok, correct me if i'm wrong), it's so inefficient and irresponsible? O.o
I've called so many times, tried so many ways and the problem is not solved. I'm going to puke blood soon. ANYWAY, I'M GOING TO CALL AGAIN TOMORROW AND SEE WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY.

Do you like to have many friends or just a few but true friends? For me, I would prefer e latter. If I cant have true friends, I would rather be a loner. In my opinion, I want friends who are truthful, sincere and those who are willing to lend a helping hand whenever one needs help.
I totally agree that friendships that were formed during the early years of one's life are normally those that can last for a lifetime.
Some thing has made me realised who my true friends really are. And to my true friends out there, it's my honour to have you all as my friends. Thank you so much.

Went for Deloitte & Touche Networking Night at the Hilton Hotel yesterday. Hilton Hotel isn't as fantastic as I had imagined. The food wasn't nice except for some chocolate dessert. The pineapple tastes like detergent and the prawns were not fresh. And one important thing to note, they didn't prepare my name tag!!! =( However beer, red and white wine were served. Too bad I didn't have the guts to drink them. I dont wanna turn red in front of everyone.
And I realised that in the corporate world, some male managers (especially those unmarried ones) are quite pervertic (i.e. they like to speak to young & pretty girls). I saw one and I was completely turned off! Is it because they had attained certain status and wealth and thus they think they can flirt with girls? I was turned off by their attitude. Cant these people be a little more normal and decent? It doesn't reflect well because employees will guarantee plus chop gossip about and maybe even criticise their behaviour? Respect will be guaranteed for decent and family oriented bosses. Like what I've told CK, I want my bf to be like a MONK. Though I think this is quite impossible but I still choose to be ignorant. I will be happier being ignorant. Maybe I should be a nun instead of an auditor?
After going for the networking night, I'm still undecided on which contract I should sign on. But I know Deloitte isn't for me. My heart is with KPMG, but my brain tells me that Ernst & Young (they have their training in Bangkok =D)is a sensible choice. Working in KPMG literally means that I'm selling my youth to it but I will be guaranteed a good exposure of many industries. I dont want to be left out by my friends - my Dear, Dearie, Devils, Weijun and many more)!!! I don't know what I want now. I've only till e 11th to decide. My head is going to explode!!!

The worse thing that can happen to you is to drop something into the gap of the lift. Yup and I was the unlucky one. I dropped a letter into the gap and I even called e maintenance guy to come n open up the lift, but the letter was nowhere to be seen. And the worse thing, I don't noe to whom the letter was addressed to. Why wasn't it the advertisment paper? Super irritated by this unlucky event and the horfun that I bought back was not nice at all!!!
I've received all 3 offers from the 3 of the Big 4. Now it's time to decide - KPMG, EY or Deloitte? I dunno where to go cos they all are the same to me - working hours are as long. I'm going to Deloitte's cocktail party tmr night to find out more about the firm and the people who are working there. See whether they are really nice or not. And of course to go there are see if there are any yandaos. It's good to have them around cos it's pleasing to my eyes. Haha...
Well, after my graduation my friends will see me less often. But do remember to call me along for any gathering ok? And to Dear and Dearie, must be prepared that there's a lot less of bubble tea and NTUC gatherings. When one steps into the corporate world, changes in lifestyle are inevitable. I will definitely miss schooling when I graduate but studying is not my cup of tea.
Bubble tea treat: Dear & Dearie, arrange a time and I'll be there to pay.
Ice cream treat: Wenz, we'll arrange one soon!!! Maybe on 16th before we head for Ronald's birthday?
Time to go back to Channel Youtube. =)
Just a reminder: Please inform me to confirm your attendance for my BBQ Party! Good food will be provided! Planning is in progress...
Cheers!

I'll be having my last interview later in the morning. I'm still undecided where I should go and which contract I should sign on. Maybe I'll wait till the contracts are sent over and will read through every word to understand each and every contract completely.
Well, after all the interviews I still have to register for my modules. Another big headache cos of my minor economic mods!!! I need 2 n I'm sure I wont get what I want cos I have to "fight" with those econs major students. Sigh. I will pester the Econs prof in charge till I get my mods, which was what I did for last semester. Haha!
Anyway, I need to find a job for this hols and one for next semester. I wanna save up for my graduation trip. I wanna save up at least 2k for my grad trip, this trip should be luxurious and lavish. It's a reward for the 21 years of hardwork put in my studies. I'll be a nerd till the day I graduate and I'll be a nerd no more!!!! Wheeeee....
Time for my beauty sleep!!!
Ciao.

Okie i received a call only today afternoon while I was sleeping.
