Fancy a `3 in 1' cool, wild & wet walk in the bewitching hours of the night?
(If it's not free, I wont even consider going...)

This is one of those `once in a lifetime' and `no more next time' treks that only the loonies from SAC & NUS ODAC would contemplate organizing and for crazy fellow trekkies who would rather stay out of their warm bed and spend the night cursing and swearing (Muahaha~ This was exactly what we were doing through the journey!) at why they were there in the first place.

Be warn for either you will get hooked on doing local treks or forever be turned off from it. However, if you are game, we have a dark and wet date than. Comprising 3 lesser known trails in S'pore, the trek comprises the:

1. Choo Choo Trek;
(The super muddy track where I lost my slippers!!! As elaborated below.)

2. the Longkang Trek; and
(It's a once a lifetime kind of experience. I slipped in it so I can say that I walked AND sat in the long-kang!!! Haha~ The filp side of it, we were walking in water that people had used to wash their dishes, toilet, body, etc. It's never ending so it's unimaginably DIRTY!!! All the dirt had already penetrated into our pores!!! Yucks!!! X__X)

3. the Binjai Horror.
(NO HORROR... I was fascinated by how rich some people are. The houses there are super grand and big! The average number of cars per house is about 2! Some even had 4 cars! They super big houses but they look like haunted houses no matter how high their values are.)

We can't guarantee we can complete this ambitious trek successfully but we sure are going to give it our best shot. What can you look forward to? How about:

~ Getting bitten by lots and lots of mozzies and buggies
(Yah!!! Both my legs are badly bitten!!! I'm applying wu bi gao like nobody's business loh... Itchy loh...)

~ Give your favourite shoes a mud bath
(My sandles broke because it was just too muddy!!! And I had to wear a slippery slippers throughout the rest of the journey... The slippers always got stuck in the "quick sand" like mud and I had to use my hands (mind you my hands!) to dig out the slippers!!! It's like you are touching a pile of "lao sai"... Haha~ One of Winnie's slippers got washed away and she had to wear different slippers - one black one white - for the rest of the journey.)

~ Be scratched and battered by lallang & bushes & what not?
(Yup, my hands and legs were scratched, ermm quite badly scratched.)

~ Wade in cat fish infested waters
(Didn't see any cat fish but we saw a few mud skippers.)

~ Be eeried by long dark gloomy bat infested tunnels
(They just flew towards me and flapped their wings near my face and body. Luckily, I was wearing a poncho! I can't imagine the feeling of being kissed by a baby bat!!! And fortunately there wasn't any bat shit on us.)

~ Pray that you don't step on a snake
(If were to step on one, I guess it will be dead - crushed to death...)

~ Stick your head above the railway track
(My legs were already wobbling when I got up the bridge. There was not railings and gaps were everywhere!!!)

Oh... I slipped and fell many many times during the trip. All thanks to my butt, I finally know how to appreciate my big butt. It protected me from feeling the pain after the fall. Tried and tested! Muahaha!

Rainy days = Mosquitoe bites!!! Didn't know that the mosquitoes are so attracted to me. I suffer from tonnes of mosquito bites on my legs and I need to spend 10 mins everyday to apply "wu bi gao" to scare of the mosquitoes!!! ARGGGHHHH... Go n bite others before I start accumulating all the bad karma!!!

Happy 22nd Birthday, Shiying!

5 of us shared a couple fondue that was ideal for 2 people. Wahaha~ And CK (bottom left) was the one who started the silly teeth-stained-with-chocolate-smile pose. She soon realised she looked dumb & ugly in the photo so she forced the rest to do the same teeth-stained-with-chocolate-smile pose. Boo... Even our ever demure Shiying posed for the camera with the dumb pose, but it was after 4 tries. Hohoho~ I admit we're childish. Well as I've said many times, these are my secondary school friends (still got others who are not inside this photo) whom I believe we'll be friends for life. Maybe you'll still see us doing these stupid things even when we're 30 years old. I wont be surprised because we've got that ever childish CK to entertain us. FRIENDS FOREVER!!!

MUAHAHAHAHA! Happiness was awaiting for me after my long nap in the afternoon. I was checking the vacancy for a particular module and there was a slot for the timing that I wanted!!! Changed the index number and now I've a 3-day week timetable!!! WOOOOHOOOOOOO...

Going back to slack!!!

It was an eventful morning. At 930 there was the ever "exciting" add drop. The trick to become the add drop winner is to have plenty of patience, fast typing and reaction speed. Why? Because the system will never fail to hang 1 min after the starting time. I'll always remember the "excitment" that I've been through during registration period. Haha! Even though I got the GE that I wanted, it wasn't the timing that I had wished for. Now I have a 4-day week timetable. Yah, 3 modules and a 4-day week, how great.

Anyway, I was supposed to attend my Internet Economics lecture this morning. However, the system was down so I relied on my memory (which proves to be failing) for the timing of the lecture. It was supposed to be at 1130 but I thought it should be 1230. I was only at city hall at 1130, so I headed for Bugis to buy sushi for lunch. The sushi at cold storage is YUMMI-LICIOUS!!! Hoho~ N there's Crystal Jade bread, Curry Bento, Takopachi, Old Chang Kee, Beard Papa, Yoshinoya, Burger King, etc. YUM YUM YUM...

Came back home and of course there is nothing for me to do. 1 core and 2 GEs... What's there to study?! Haha... Just kidding lah... Laziness won and I'm now having a DVD & Youtube marathon!!! I shall take some time to rest before I cant slack anymore... Hoho~

Back to my DVDs!!!

I'm so damn bloody pissed off with NTU!!! Stupid registration system... Vacancies disappearing all of a sudden... I might not even get anything in e end!!! WTH... If I cant get any modules during add drop tmr, then I can just forget about my minor... ARGGGHHHHH!!! FREAKING PISSED!!! Definitely not a good start to the last semester...
